The Philosophy of Bonsai
A bonsai does not ask for much, just your attention, a little water, and the wisdom to know the difference between the two. Find everything you need to keep your trees healthy, happy, and growing beautifully.
"The best time to care for your bonsai was yesterday. The second best time is right now."
What's Next
Bonsai Mash is just the beginning. Over the coming months, new sites will emerge from the MediaFresh stable, each one built around a subject that genuinely interests Rob, his family, and the people around him. The list so far includes humour, print on demand, graphic design, web design and development, psychology, solution focused hypnotherapy, philosophy, Buddhism, songwriting, animation, guitars, writing, KDP publishing, and no doubt a few subjects that have not quite made themselves known yet.
The common thread running through all of them is authenticity. These are not topics chosen for search volume or commercial convenience. They are the things that actually fill the days, conversations, and bookshelves of the people behind them.
Who we are
MediaFresh is Rob’s web design and development company, building websites for a wide range of clients across many different industries. It is a proper, commercial business with real clients and real work behind it. But alongside that, Rob runs a growing collection of passion projects under the MediaFresh umbrella, and that is a deliberate choice.
The thinking behind it is simple. Rather than hiding these sites behind a faceless brand with no obvious human being attached to it, Rob wanted to be transparent about where they come from and who is behind them. We are real people. Bonsai Mash was built by someone who genuinely cares about bonsai, not a content machine chasing search traffic. Knowing that matters, both to us and, we hope, to you.
About Bonsai Mash
Bonsai Mash is the first passion project to emerge from the desk of Rob Wyborn, founder of MediaFresh.co.uk. And like all the best projects, it started with a genuine fascination rather than a business plan.
Rob’s interest in bonsai had always been quietly present, but it deepened considerably after visiting family in South-East Asia and witnessing bonsai not as a hobby or a curiosity, but as a living, breathing part of everyday culture. Seeing these extraordinary trees in the landscapes and gardens where the tradition genuinely belongs has a way of changing how you think about the whole practice. It changed how Rob thought about it, and Bonsai Mash is the result.
Would you like to get in touch?
We would love to hear from you. Whether you have an idea to share, a topic you would like us to cover, or some honest feedback on our content, we are genuinely all ears. We want Bonsai Mash to be as good as it can possibly be, and the best way to make that happen is to hear from the people who actually read it.
Good ideas and positive critique are always welcome here. Do not be shy.
